Hale Kapu Mo'olelo a Ali'i Ana — The Senate
Elected Governing Body of the Hawaiian Kingdom IP Trust
The 44 Senators are the elected governing body of the Trust — the voice of the 44,444 descendants in the daily operations of the Hui. They govern the Trust's cultural, legal, and commercial activities, approve budgets, oversee licensing agreements, and direct the Ali'i Ana production slate. Senators serve four-year terms and are elected by the full Ohana.
Every Senator is elected by the 44,444 members — one member, one vote. No appointment. No purchase. Pure democracy.
Senators serve four-year terms with a maximum of three consecutive terms. The Senate renews itself through the will of the people.
The Senate operates through five standing committees: Cultural Preservation, Legal & Sovereignty, Finance, Production, and Community.
